"Animal lovers are a special breed of humans, generous of spirit, full of empathy, perhaps a little prone to sentimentality, and with hearts as big as a cloudless sky" (John Grogan). I've always been the girl that the neighbors and family trusted to take care of their pets while they were away. Animals naturally gravitate to me; most believe they can sense calm nature and positive energy. Since I was a little girl, I've loved animals and pets of all kinds, from hamsters to horses and everything in between (this list is not inclusive:) dogs, kitties, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, lizards, fish, donkeys, and goats, to name a few! My family rescued many dogs, including Lucy, who was deaf, and at our local humane society for over a year. We adopted Lucy to help her live out the rest of her days full of love and adventures because she deserved it! I also spend a significant amount of time training my Labrador puppy, Sage; she is my furry child!
