Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lane, I am a stay at home teacher until late March. I just live alone with my best friend Rufus (my dog). I rarely leave my house unless to get food to cook now. I have grown up with dogs as big as 200 lb mastiffs and st bernards but I currently only have a 15 on dog. I have an enclosed backyard where your dog is more than welcome to run around. My favorite thing about dog sitting is seeing my dog enjoy the company of other animals. I get dogs can become anxious when away from their owners so I will do my best to ensure your best friends get all the love and attention they need. My office is in a back room where I even keep a dog bed or two for my own pup so they will always have company even when I’m teaching a group of kids online. I look forward to the opportunity to watch your dogs and invite them to play with my little dog and keep us company through the whole day.

Lane has watched our pets several times. We dropped them off with him (a dog and a cat and a Guinea pig). He has been so conscientious and responsible. He also sent us pictures of how happy they obviously were. That was greatly appreciated and made myself, as well as my little ones, thankful they were all happy and such a relief to see they were being well cared for. Lane was particularly affectionate and went out of his way to make our pets feel loved and at home away from home. I would highly recommend him.
Lane has taken care of my pets while my family and I was on vacation. We have chickens, a garden, an extra large dog, and several cats. Lane was so good with my pets, they were all very attached when I returned. In fact, he went over and above watching them. I was so impressed. He's particularly good with consistently dealing with pet 'behaviors' in a positive and redirecting way. Watching him in person was impressive.

A typical day
I take my dig on several daily walks, play fetch with them in the house or in the backyard, or go on short hikes if acceptable for you. With the winter weather I don’t do it as much at the moment due to how dirty my own dog can get.
