A typical day

A typical day with the pets I watch is relaxed, fun, and tailored to their personalities. We start the day with breakfast and some light activity, maybe a walk for dogs who enjoy it, or a bit of toy play for cats who feel playful in the morning. Throughout the day, we mix in playtime, attention, and plenty of companionship, whether that’s a game of fetch, a cozy nap nearby, or some window watching and gentle pets. I follow their lead! Some pets love staying active, while others just want company and calm. In the evening, we wind down with a little more play or a walk if wanted, followed by dinner and quiet time to relax. No matter what, I make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their people are away.

Pet care experience

As an Animal Science major with a pre-vet focus, animals have always been at the center of my life. I am currently a Certified Veterinary Assistant, which means I understand pet behavior, health, and safety on a deeper level. Whether it’s playing with high energy puppies, giving extra love to senior pets, or sticking to a specific routine, I always treat animals like my own. I’m calm, reliable, and detail oriented. Someone you can trust to keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away.
