Powerlifter/socialworker/dog rescue

Pet care experience

I've been fostering dogs ever since the pandemic, but owned dogs since I was a kid. I've seen a lot of troubled cases and a lot of special situations and always resolved them with a positive outcome. I've been privileged to work with a rescue in East Nashville and worked with dogs that have had severe anxiety and others who have been reactive. I've taken the time to educate myself and better understand how to care for a variety of needs dogs can have. I'm also a big guy and haven't found a dog I couldn't walk. I understand the importance of bringing good "vibes" and realize that dogs feed off the energy you give them. I've worked with a lot of dog breeds and look forward to working with yours.

Very friendly and my dogs immediately took to him and were comfortable. Was able to accommodate my 3-legged dog no problem!

I've known Landon for well over 15 years and he is by far one of the most reliable people I know. He has assisted me in rescue work in Nashville after the tornados in 2020 by driving around town with a scanner to help reconnect lost dogs with their families as well as fostering multiple pets through the pandemic. He treats animals with respect and care and I would trust him with wholeheartedly with my pets.

I highly recommend Landon as a trusted dog walker and pet sitter. He will care for your pets like they are his own. As a seasoned dog Dad, he knows the ins and outs of pet care. As someone who has worked with him before, I know how seriously he takes his work. Look no further than Landon for all your future pet care needs!

Landon is wonderful with pets, having two pitbulls himself, he is a patient and playful owner. Throughout my years knowing him he has always enjoyed having pets and has even participated in fostering during the COVID pandemic, providing comfort and attention to a variety of breeds with different needs and personalities. He would make an excellent companion for pets

I've fostered for a number of years so the care is dependent on the needs of the dogs. I have two pitbulls of my own but often will bring in fosters as my schedule allows. The largest factor with the dogs I care for is routine which can be difficult to manage with work/life stressors. I'm familiar with crate training as well as general dog training techniques. I am a big believer in doing what is right for the dog. I mean that I try my best to set dogs up for success rather than try to mold them to what we (the owners) want from them. Some dogs do well at dog parks, others don't. I think personalizing care is what I've found leads to the greatest outcomes.

I freelance in tv/film production but this leaves large gaps in my schedule. I'm very flexible so there will often be at least a couple weeks out of the month that I'm free to assist with any pet care needs.
