Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Lance. I absolutely love all animals and have experience working with all sorts of pets. I have been a professional positive reinforcement dog trainer for over a year, worked with dogs, cats, and exotic animals for over 7 years, and have taken care of animals since I was young. I have a veterinary assistant certification, was a kennel technician at animal control, have worked in veterinary settings, and have volunteered at a horse rescue.

Lance truly cares about every animal and will take care of your fur baby like his own. He understands each dog's unique behaviors, like when they're anxious, and helps calm and ease the dog. I have a very stubborn corgi who is currently afraid of people, however, she loves Lance! He is always so happy to see our little nugget and she truly enjoys every moment with him. He is also extremely experienced with animals. We are currently training with him, through no-force/positive reinforcement, and Lance really knows his stuff! Our corgi is able to pick up advanced concepts quickly under his tutelage and his presence makes her calm. I honestly cannot recommend Lance more! I would trust him with my dog, which is saying a lot since I am an overly protective dog mom.
Lance is Amazing! He’s great with both our dogs, cats and even our turtle. I can’t imagine a better person to entrust your fur babies with. Lance is responsible and dependable and we have always been comfortable with him in our home

I like to bring treats with me on walks, so I would like to know if your dog has any food allergies or if you would prefer I not use treats. Knowing how they are with someone new (anxious, friendly, etc.) helps so I know what to expect, but I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals so I don't mind if they need time to warm up to me.
A typical day
I like to provide dogs with sniff walks where they can take time to decompress and process information to make the walks stress free and fun, while also providing physical and mental exercise. For drop in visits, I make sure the animals have their food, water, meds if needed, and as much love and attention as they want :)
