Hello there, I'm Lee, and I'm excited to offer a welcoming and active environment for your furry friends at Luna's Haven Dog Care (my house). Luna, my 1-year-and-3-month-old Beagle, is a bundle of energy, and since I'm home most of the time, I thought it would be great to have a few dogs join us during the day. Our home features a large fenced backyard, a porch with a roof, and access to the back half of the inside of the house. I reside in a quiet and low-traffic neighborhood, creating a safe space for play and relaxation. While I walk Luna 4-5 times a day, I'm eager to create a mutually beneficial situation where Luna and other dogs can run around and play. Despite having a 15-year-old Yorkie named Goose, who can't play as much, I have a plan in place to ensure everyone's comfort. Goose would stay in the other half of the house when other dogs are around. I'm also available for dog walking within a 5-mile radius, and I prefer not to crate Luna for extended periods. My schedule is flexible, and I genuinely enjoy the company of dogs, having had them my whole life. Compatibility is crucial, so I'd like to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable with Luna. I suggest a meet and greet to test the waters and provide peace of mind. For those staying with us, there are comfortable indoor rooms available, and I'm committed to accommodating their feeding schedule. While I have toys for them to play with, I understand the importance of familiar items, so feel free to bring your pet's preferred toys or bedding. Ideally, a regular and consistent weekly schedule would ensure that I can meet any pet sitting or walking obligations. Luna is friendly with every dog and person she meets, but I respect that not everyone may want her to approach them immediately. My plan is to start small with day boarding and expand gradually. Walking dogs during non-boarding hours won't be an issue, and I'm committed to multiple walks if they are boarded here. I have a safe loop of about a half mile, away from traffic and hazards. If you're interested in having your dog(s) walked or stay here with us, I'm more than happy to arrange it and recommend a meet and greet. Lancaster, Abner and I had a meet and greet. He was great with Abner and listened closely to the instructions for Abner’s care. Unfortunately I was unable to take the trip and didn’t need him. I would hire him again.
Everything was great for Willie. He enjoyed being at Lee's and the care was excellent.
My dog Willie spent his first day with Lee and Luna. It went extremely well. Lee asked alot of questions about Wilie so he could get to know him which was really nice. He sent me several pics and updates throughout the day since it was his first time there. He has a nice fenced in yard so the dogs can play. I highly recommend him and will be using him on a regular basis.

Every pet is different, so we would want to test out how your dog does with mine. I'm able to be with the dogs basically the entire time.

Walks around the neighborhood, playing with toys, tons of exercise as my young Beagle loves to play. I have a fenced in backyard they can play in. I have a deck with a roof, and a few rooms in my house they can be in as well

Very flexible schedule as I currently work only part time from home. I spend most of my time taking care of my dog who is now just over 15 months old.
