Pet care experience
I have experience with overnight boarding for my friends and neighbors and have been a pet owner myself for the past 3 years. I love dogs if all sizes and have a special place in my heart for big dogs! I do very well with cats as well.

My apartment will not be available to take in additional pets. My landlord has a policy on that. However, when working with other's pets, I have experience with leashing, harnessing, and walking safely with a variety of dogs or cats (yes, I have walked my cats before!). I am very conscious and situationally aware with my own pets and those of my friends, family, neighbors, and clients.

A typical day
As an extrovert, I have lots of high energy like most doggos and enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood. I like playing fetch and even tug of war with dogs. As an avid bookworm, I also enjoy quiet time with lower energy animals like cats. I've taken to reading aloud to my own kitty if she feels a little restless and do so with Rover client's kitties as well.

Availability
I work full time at my local book store with varying schedules between either the opening shift or closing shift. However, I have managed to balance per care personally with my own baby girl, as well as professionally with Rover clients. I have a vehicle to drive to clients' homes for check ins and house sittings. Failing that, I am well-versed in the Pittsburgh Public Transit system and have a very handsome husband who is willing to drive me around. While making arrangements for sittings, I am very open about when I can complete my services given my work schedule during that time.
