I am trained in animal care and I have been pet sitting (mostly dogs) for more than 10 years. I think dogs are really special beings and beautiful companions. I enjoy being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after with the utmost care and compassion. I have cared for dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. My naturally calm and patient disposition works well with most, especially dogs that may need more time and attention, such as shy dogs or older dogs. I am available for drop-in visits, overnights and walks.

Lana is great! Very communicative. Keeps me super up to date. Really goes above and beyond when trying to form a bond with a dog. My dog can be a stubborn and shy girl when it comes to new people, and Lana has really taken the time to let my dog get to know her with a great deal of patience.
Lana is an animal whisperer! She was so good with my dog, and my dog is picky with her people! You can tell that Lana genuinely loves animals. I would definitely have her watch any of my pets, anytime!

I prefer to care for pets in their own home because it offers them a sense of security during a difficult emotional time while their humans are away. **PLEASE NOTE** I am only offering overnights to existing clients of 4-6 weeks or more, I feel it is important for me and your animal companions to get to know each other before their family goes away.

A typical day
If you have a fenced-in yard we can play ball or frisbee or which ever game your dog loves! We can also take a walk around your neighborhood or go to the park! If you know of any good dog-friendly hiking trails close to where you live please let me know!
