I remember the first time I used ROVER. It was October of 2018. I contacted a few overnight boarding facilities to keep Gidget. Many of these facilities didn't have any vacancies. One was available to board Gidget. I completed the required paperwork. I got her a kennel cough vaccine. And they told me to bring her in. But, I couldn’t do it.  
 During my search for an overnight facility, I was uneasy. I was afraid she would jump the fence and go on her own adventure. And I would never see her again. I barely had her for 1 year. And I was afraid she would be sad because she lost her home again. My stomach was in knots and I couldn't sleep. What’s the best option for my beloved dog?  
 A few days left before my flight to California. I aimlessly searched the Rover app to find a sitter. I contacted a few available sitters to watch my girl. Most of them didn’t respond, or they weren’t available. One young lady responded to my request. We met, and I hired her on the spot. She was great. She dropped in on my darling Gidget twice a day. Every day I received pictures and updates about my girl. I was so far away from her on the West coast. And my mind was at ease. I knew my darling Gidget was fine. 
 In January of 2019, I became a Rover sitter. You will have peace of mind. You can leave your dog behind. And know your dog is ok. Safe. Fed. Walked. And at home.
