Pet care experience
I've always had an affinity for dogs and they seem to be drawn to me too. I've been dog-sitting and house-sitting for neighbors, family and friends since 2010 on and off. From 2017 -2021, I raised my friends' puppies & sat them often (including walking, feeding and potty training) before moving to NYC. I miss them everyday

Incredible!! Had a last minute work thing come up and Lana was quite literally a savior! She treated my puppy like her own and made it so comfortable to communicate with. 10/10. Thank you again!
Lana was great! She hung out with my dog all day and gave frequent updates. Potato had a great time, we’ll definitely be booking with Lana again!
Lana was an amazing dog sitter for our rocky baby. She was able to arrive early in the morning to make sure he was settled in and comfortable with her before we left and stayed late until we got home. Rocky isn't the best eater but Lana had no problem making him rice and getting Rocky to eat. We received pupdates throughout our time away, making it much easier to relax on vacation. Lana is super nice and she was very respectful of our home. We are so happy we found Lana and we would love to book her again to stay with the rock! Thank you Lana!
So sweet, so warm, so passionate about giving pups good love and my pup loved her. Can’t wait to scheduling more sitting appts with Lana.

I would prefer to care for pets in their owners' home as my living situation at the moment is not conducive to to pet sitting. :( I hope to change that in the near future!

A typical day
Lots of games, lots of walks in places with lots of interesting smells. If they're social, I'm happy to take them to the park to interact with other dogs. A key activity, especially with puppies, is sleep! Make sure they get rest and simmer down when they need to. Basically, I follow the dogs lead and make decisions based on their energy!

Availability
I'm currently at Grad school & work remotely part-time, so my time is flexible. I'd love to spend as much time as possible with the pups but for now "quality puppy time" is scheduled Thursday - Sunday! As long as you have wifi, I'll be very available :)
