Pet care experience
Love animals, have had dogs of all types since I was 2 years old. I believe all animals can easily be cared for if you put in the work to understand them. I have personally trained three of my own personal dogs throughout my childhood, most from puppyhood to old age. I have cared for dogs from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. I love interacting with dogs & learning their unique personalities. I have never met a dog I haven’t gotten along with :)

I live right next to a park and walk my own dog 3 times a day, so your pet will have plenty of play time & walk time! I live near a creek and dog park, both of which my dog loves. I believe dogs need to explore and have fun no matter what age or breed. Each dog has its own unique personality & understanding of the world. I believe dogs are like young children and should be treated as such, with patience, understanding, and love. Every dog deserves to have fun, learn, and enjoy life — just like we do!

I am comfortable with all dogs, but would like to know about special needs & temperament ahead of time. If your dog does not like other dogs, I can have my dog stay with friends for a few days, as her best friend lives elsewhere. I am fine with all breeds.
A typical day
I have many toys in my house, as me & my dog both are toy hoarders :p Your dog will have plenty of toys & puzzles to choose from. My dog loves to play with other dogs, including tug of war & fetch with others. I would love to take your dog to the dog park, creek, or human park right outside my apartment building. If your dog prefers to stay inside, we can have some fun with toys.

Availability
I’m a part time worker & student. I can care for animals Sun-Weds after 4pm and Saturday before 5pm. I can watch animals overnight, as I have roommates who can watch animals if the times do not work out. My household is always supervised with someone home at all times. I am very active as I take my dog on adventures almost everyday.
