I live in a barnyard, well at least that's the goal. I love being surrounded by animals whether feathered, furred or scaley. I grew up with dogs, cats and chickens my entire life and have continued that tradition into adulthood. I regularly dog sit for family and friends, our tribe of fur babies is quite large! Long walks, river swims and post adventure snuggles rule. I have also worked professionally with animals as a biologist including Desert Tortoises, Northern Goshawks and Great Horned Owls. No these aren't animals of the canine variety but they still require care and patience as well as respect and thoughtful interaction.
