Pet care experience
I've cared for both dogs and cats (primarily) since I was 8. I also have experience working with fish, turtles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I've worked with all ages of animals ranging from newborn to senior. In fact, I've assisted in the birthing process and raising of several litters of kittens. Family, friends, neighbors and strangers have counted on my services to watch and aid their cuddly companions. I am constantly applying my knowledge through volunteering at the local animal shelter in my community where I clean, interact with, and walk many animals within a typical day. I have CPR/BLS certifications because pet safety is a big priority! I am very detail-oriented, so you should have no worry with me keeping to your specific care instructions. I've been hired to sit for special needs pets before due to this quality of mine. You can count on me to be responsive, engaging and responsible for assisting you with your pet needs!

Ragnar loved Laila. He was super excited to go on a walk with his new friend. Laila was an amazing communicator, send photos, gave a great summary of their walk. Can’t wait to have her walk Ragnar again!
Laila did a wonderful job looking after our house and cat while we were gone on a trip. She sent plenty of pictures, and went above and beyond leaving our house clean and ready for us at the end of our trip. Our cat wasn’t near as needy when we got home like she has been in the past when someone just checked in on her. Would most definitely request Laila’s services again ☺️
Laila was a lifesaver! She responded to my request promptly and was able to accommodate us last minute while traveling. She took such good care of Ayla and Benno. She sent us pictures and videos while we were out to let us know how things were going. Definitely recommend!

If possible, I'd like to be aware of anything and everything to ensure maximum safety! For their health, it'd be great if I were provided with... - A pet care safety plan that lists emergency contacts, such as your veterinarian and local police, as well as a history of health concerns for your pet - A list of your pet’s medications and how/when to administer them if applicable. To maximize the sitting experience, tell me about... -Your pet's sleeping preferences (crate? bed? if you can, bring these items with you!) - Your pet’s daily routines - Your pet’s daily food intake, including dry food, wet food and treats - Your pet’s favorite games and toys (bring them with you!) - Your pet’s personality — do they get along with other animals and people? Do they have any anxieties (such as the mailman or motorcycles driving by)? What do they like and dislike? - Your favorite walking spots and/or parks to take them to If there's any key information I may have missed, don't hesitate to fill me in!
A typical day
I believe that pet sitting should be fun and stimulating, which means keeping your pet happy and entertained through out the entire experience! Some enrichment activities I like to do (with owner permission) are: scent exploration, problem-solving, target games and massages/grooming.

I work M-F 9-6pm, so I can aid on weekdays after 7pm-11pm and then weekends all day for day care/walking/drop-ins. For house sitting, I am available all week!
