Farmhouse Dog Boarding
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of different animals in my time, both dogs and cats included. My specialties are in FIV+ cats and deaf dogs. I live in a farmhouse on 100 acres of unfenced land. I currently have 6 cats, a mini dauschund, a chihuahua, a tarantula, and a turtle. All cats and dogs get along easily with others.

Our farmhouse is definitely aged but well kept and located off the main road, unfenced. Cables and/or leashes are required for potty breaks, so dogs must be leash trained. It’s recommended that boarding dogs are comfortable with cats. When both my partner and I are away, dogs will be gated in kitchen or kept in their crate. Water will always be available. A warm blanket or bed and fun, engaging toys are ALWAYS available. Potty breaks are frequent. All animals are allowed on furniture.

Tell me everything YOU want me to know about your pet! I want your pet to be comfortable here, so knowing their routine and as much as possible about their personalities is very important to me. I also need to know if your pet(s) behave well around other dogs, and cats especially! Safety is my first priority so don’t be alarmed if I ask a few extra questions concerning behavior before finalizing a booking.
A typical day
Long walks on the farm, lots of attention and kisses, and tons of play time! We’ve got toys galore and safe treats for dogs of all sizes. All pets are also allowed on furniture to ensure THEIR comfort in our home, including when we are not home.

Availability
I work full-time at a bank. The longest I’d ever be away from the house is 6-8 hours. My schedule is typically very flexible, so I can accommodate for any length of stay. My partner helps care for our pets as well and typically works afternoons/evenings. Pets can be expected to be home alone for anywhere from 4 to 6 hours depending on our varied schedules, but will always have essentials available to them.
