Pet care experience
I am a loving responsible female who has a lot of experience with dogs and cats and would love to help you ensure your animal is happy while you're away! I have great rapport with animals of all types, intuitively understand them and what they need and am dedicated to the loving details of their personalized care. I love to be surrounded by animals and have a great sense of how to love, engage and discipline them. I am a great believer in the Ceasar Milan's The Dog Whisperer philosophy that dogs understand the energy you project and always strive to treat them with respect and discipline, ensuring that they get the exercise and the affection they need to thrive. I wouldn't want my pets staying with just anybody or at a hostel where there is so much that can happen. I am happy to provide you with a sense of security that your precious babies will receive personalized one-on-one attention, love, play and exercise just like they would when you are around. Every animal should be as happy with a sitter as they are with you at home.

Laena was great! She showed up on time, took great care of both my dogs. We were a Little nervous leaving them for an entire week with a stranger for the first time, but she stayed in contact, sent tons of pictures of the dogs having fun and the house was clean and well taken care of when we got back. I’ll definitely be booking her again for our next vacation.!
Laena did a fantastic job with our lab! They kept our dog active, took her out on walks and to the park several times over the few days they had her. She also is a professional photographer and sent us some amazing pics of our pup! My kids love those! My dog is fun and lovable but not the easiest to handle and Laena was patient and loving. Would def recommend her!

When caring for the pets in your home, I try to ensure I spend a lot of time being calm and available to their needs. I am a very tidy and organized person and I will do my best to leave your house undisturbed by my presence. I will typically work on my laptop or watch a show on tv and play with the pets. If I do have to leave for other jobs or personal chores, I will check back every few hours and make sure they have a chance to go to the bathroom and say hi.

It is really important to me that your pets get along with children and other animals. I would like to meet the owners and the pets so we can all get a sense of our dynamic and make sure the animals and I are comfortable with each other. I will go through the checklist that Rover provides and ask a lot of questions beforehand.
A typical day
I love to take them to parks and go for a lot of walks to keep them active. Definitely when we wake up, we will immediately go outside. Then kind of chill at home for a bit and get ready for the day and go on a long walk around 11 am. The dogs then can hang out for a bit and we will do another long walk around 5 or 6 pm. And of course right before bed, I usually take them out again. We will play with their favorite toys and I like to give them treats to reward them for being good. I really love going to Tanner park or other dog parks, but just any park can do too as long as there is a trail we can walk on, especially if they can't be around other dogs.

I have a very flexible schedule and am able to accommodate your pets unique needs and make sure they have a chance to go potty 3-4 times a day or more.
