Pet care experience
I’ve owned and cared for pets since I was 8 years old. I’m a retired elementary principal who wants to just spoil your babies, garden, read and travel. I have been an animal rescuer and fostered over 50 dogs.

Absolutely a five-star experience! Cocoa was welcomed as part of the family from the moment she arrived at Lael’s. She had an absolute blast chasing squirrels in the yard and spending quality time with Lael’s wonderful family. It’s clear that Lael provided her with not just care, but a loving, fun environment that Cocoa thrived in. Highly recommend to anyone who wants their pet to have a home away from home!
We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. What a great experience for us and our fur babies. Thank you Lael.
Lael is our family go-to for our fur babies! She takes them in as they are her own! We are so thankful to have her in our lives!
Our Boxer rescue dog had a wonderful visit with Lael and her dogs Willow and Scout. He can't wait to go back! We were VERY impressed with Lael's passion for animals. Her home is very pet friendly and welcoming. We strongly recommend her!!

Availability
I work part time with a flexible schedule and so does my husband, which allows us to be home almost all day. We occasionally are out for 1-4 hours at the same time.
