I had a puppy when I was really little, but for family circumstances i had to give her away, but from that day forward, I knew that i wanted to work with dogs the rest of my life. Ever since then I've been trying to find ways to spend time with a human's best friend. I've volunteered with the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County and I've had experiences with caring for dogs while volunteering with the StreetDog Foundation whenever they came to my local Farmer's Market. I want to do more and I feel that by caring for other people's pets, I can give back to the beloved dog who got me started on this path a long time ago, because improving the quality of man's best friends' life will give me the reason and purpose to wake up every morning.
