Hello! My name is Lacy. I am 27 years old with a 7 year old Husky. His name is Bravo, and he is amazing. Even though I had lived on a farm and have always been around and loved animals, I didn't set out in search of having my own pet due to the awareness of the great responsibility it brought. When I met Bravo, he was 3 months old, 45 pounds, and full of the most energetic life I have ever encountered. He was in need of a home, and even though I had decided to not have my own dog until I was more "ready", I couldn't bear the thought of him being sheltered and so took him home. I consider the first 5 months to be intensive training, because oh my word, there was alot to learn. If anyone reading this has/has had/has known a Husky in your lifetime, you know how special of a creature they are! It took lots of study and research, along with massive amounts of patience and understanding, to learn how to truly and effectively communicate with Bravo and give him the full, happy life he deserves. The experiences he has given me have helped me to better relate to other doggies and how to best take care of them. I heed all instruction and advice with great seriousness and know the trust it takes to leave your fur baby with a strange human. I am dedicated to taking the best care of any pup left in my ward, and know how to gently guide tough breeds on long walks. I live one block from a back entrance to Garden of the Gods, so it's a frequent spot of ours. I am also less than a mile from Red Rocks Canyon Open Space, and a couple miles from Bear Creek dog park. Not to mention all the parks and small trails otherwise!
