Rover community this was a terrible experience. I was in a pinch to use Laci because my regular sitter had an emergency. It was very last minute and needed to be on a flight for work in a few hours. When sent the booking dates for availability to Laci she answered very promptly. Within 5 minutes. once I dropped the dogs off the responses went to 2 to 5 hours later. I requested updates and pics. She said that the app was not working and she had problems with the app. My scheduled pick up was between 6-7pm today. I messaged her in the morning to let her know I would be there at 7p. If the flight wasn't delayed but would let her know if anything happened. HOURS later she responded that she was hoping I would be there closer to 6pm. She asked if I would be ok with picking them up at 9:30 pm instead or at a different location at 8:30. Very strange, different location?! I replied no I'll just pick them up at 9:30pm. At 8:18 she messages me that she might be a little late because of her shift but she would message me when she was leaving work and then I could pick them up. Something didn't seem right so I went with the original plan to be there at 9:30. I arrive at her home and her garage is open and no lights are on. I walk around and knock on the door.and there is no barking. Not a sound. My dogs are big time barkers and hear everything. Especially the chihuahua. I knocked on the door loud, not a sound. I called Rover and they gave me her number. That number is not in service. I called Rover again and told them what I was seeing. I was very upset, where are my dogs? I walked into the garage and there was dog poop in there. She then sends me a message that if I wanted I could pick the dogs up in the morning because she didnt know if she was getting off work soon.I replied No, I will wait at her house to get them Now Laci is miraculously responding very quickly. I asked her are the dogs with you because I knocked and no barking. She said the dogs were upstairs and they couldn't hear. As I'm on the phone with Rover she messaging me that she is on her way. Literally in 5 minutes she pulls in straight into her garage. Closes the garage door. Then another suv pulls up and then parks in her drive way. A woman gets out with a collie. Laci comes out of house with the dogs. She looks panicked. My older dog pees immediately in the driveway. The dogs run into the car and she grabs their stuff. I try to be calm but I can't wait to get my dogs out of there. I wish they could talk. Who knows what the heck went on in her care. Something wasn't right about this. My gut tells me something isn't right here. Don't go through what I experienced. This a true experience. I read her reviews and she had couple bad ones. Heed the reviews and don't compromise. Big mistake on my part. No need to respond Laci or give an excuse. Something is off here.

Wonderful experience sitting our pets with Laci. She responded with pictures and had supplies ready to go on pickup. Very happy with our boarding overall
