I have never not had pets during my life. I listed my experience as seven years just because that was how long ago I've been an adult with my own pets. My favorite animal on planet earth are cats. I have an orange kitten named Hugo who is just about to turn a year old. As someone who is very tall, I learned very quickly how to be respectful and sensitive to dogs' boundaries. The latter half of my life was spent with two dogs; the little Chihuahua in my profile picture, Buttercup, and an ex-fighting Rottweiler mix named Penny, both of which have recently moved on. I am the proxy step-dad to my girlfriend's Newfoundland, Irma. I am strong dog walker, a willing learner, and have come to understand just how different and personable different breeds of pets come. I enjoy the process of understanding different animals, and can simply just do my best!
