From taking care of so many breeds, I've learned that all dogs are different. Maybe your dog just wants to play fetch, wants to sit and chew on her favorite toy, or wants to curl up on someone's lap. Does your dog eat food off counter tops or try to dart out the door when someone comes home? Telling me about your pet's quirks and naughty habits ensures a better stay. I especially need to know about any food, toy, or leash aggression. I prefer mellow or older dogs, but playful adults are also welcome. Overly rambunctious or highly energetic dogs are not a good match for us, which is especially true for larger breeds. If your dog is scared to be around other dogs or does not get along with other dogs, Sherwood Dog Boarding is not the place for your fur kid. A meet and greet is essential before your dog's first stay, and I might request having your dog over for a day or half day of daycare before committing to an extended stay as dogs sometimes act differently in the absence of their owners.

We spend much of the day out playing in the yard when the weather allows, but dogs are never left unattended while outside. We have plenty of toys and soft places for pups to rest. We allow dogs on the furniture.
