I am available again for the next 4 months!!! Hi! My name is Lacey and I have loved all animals my entire life! My parents have surrounded me and my sister with animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish... you name it, I have taken care of it! My dream is to become a veterinary technician, so I can guarantee I will love and nurture your pets as if they’re my own. Speaking of my own, we recently rescued a rat terrier mix (profile photo) named Penny. She came all this way on her own from Alabama with severe anxiety & trust issues. I have experience taking care of reactive and emotionally inclined dogs. They warm up to me very quickly through some trust practices & I will always make them feel as safe and secure as possible. My goal is to be your dogs best friend too. Besides personal experience I took care of a beautiful couples pets before they moved away. They had a Rottweiler and a chihuahua (who needed special medication and a strict diet) plus 2 indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats. They were very pleased with how accommodating I was! I have also done a 3 month stay at a family's home with their labradoodle. She had been attacked by a dog as a puppy and as a result, had become reactive to other dogs and strangers. We overcame many anxious triggers and behaviors & by the end of our time together she had met my whole family with no issues! A little more about me: I currently have a wide open schedule. I love going on hikes, petting animals (obviously), making art (pottery, charcoal drawings, stipple art). I love going to tea shops & flea markets. I have been referred to as very coachable, accommodating, and kind hearted. Your pet(s) will make me just as happy and loved as i hope to make them feel!
