About me: I am a 19 year old Veterinary Technician who has a passion for loving, caring and helping save animals lives. I am responsible and dependable and I love to help out when and wherever I can. I am energetic and have a positive attitude, you will always see me smiling. I have a courteous demeanor and I am a very fast learner to what your pets needs are. I am focused and hard working. Schooling and Work Experience: I have volunteered at SPCA for six years, worked as a technician at CBACC for 1 year and now currently a technician at Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital since May 2016. I recently graduated from the RVT program at Bakersfield College with a job skills certificate. I am very passionate and care for all animals. Key Skills with work experience: Socializing and exercising animals, bathing and grooming animals, kennel maintenance and housekeeping duties, has knowledge and ability to recognize normal vs abnormal behavior and responds appropriately, administered oral and parenteral medications, has observed and assisted in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and plenty more.
