Hello! I've recently moved from PA to NY for work and have found myself with a lot of free time on my hands, so I decided to give Rover a try! Though I've been dog-sitting for years, I am new to using Rover (I usually dog-sit via word of mouth). As an animal lover, I've owned, cared for, and volunteered with dogs my whole life. Even when my parents didn't want another pup, I somehow found a way to add another for-legged member to the family. I've volunteered at local animal shelters and have dog-sat for family, friends, and acquaintances in high school and through college. Whether the pups I sit have special dietary needs or just need someone to be with for a while, I'm always willing to help and just spend time with your furry* family member! Sadly, I can not rescue a dog of my own at this point in my life (I recognize I do not have the space needed to properly care for a pup - tiny apartment), so I'm hoping this job could help me meet new people and spend some time with our four-legged friends. Things about me: - Work at Alfred University in Residence Life (8:30am-4:30pm M-F) - Love to be outside no matter the weather (unless it is storming) - Just starting out, but feel free to ask for additional services if needed *I'm good with other animals being around if you own something other than a dog.
