Hello! My name is Lacey. I am currently a graduate student that really enjoys dogs! I have owned dogs my entire life. My family currently has 3. I have worked at vet's office, with the boarding animals, as well as, a doggy daycare. These two experiences have allowed me to become comfortable with all breeds, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I am also comfortable administering medication orally and intravenously. While working in the doggy daycare I was in charge of many things such as: setting up socializing groups, walking, feeding, bathing and administering medication to all of the animals. Sometimes 30+ dogs! I pet sat for my neighbors frequently within my neighborhood. Spring 2016 semester at college I was lucky enough to have fostered and socialized a 6 month old Golden Retriever, Kobra, for 7 months through a program called 4paws for Ability. He was a service dog in training. I was able to really experience the full responsibility of a service dog since I was able to bring him to class, stores and anywhere else a normal service dog would be allowed.
