Pet care experience
I have always loved to care for pets, whether they are my own or others; however my busy schedule in the past made it very difficult to find time. Although my work schedule has changed drastically recently the upside is that I am able to open up my home to board your pets! I am home all day however I am constantly outdoors keeping active and I promise I will keep your pup just as active with me! But don't worry, during these hot months I am also very cautious about the heat and I make sure they are well hydrated and not out too long! Growing up we have always had pets in the family and I have had my own pets as well after moving out of the family home. I love the outgoing nature of dogs and how much unconditional love they provide to their owners - in turn they should be loved just as much. I would make sure that every dog I interact with is in the best care and is given as close to the amount of love their owner's have for them as possible. We adopted dogs whose previous owners have mistreated and abused them therefore I am accustomed to approaching dogs with different histories differently.

I’m so thankful for Lacey for house sitting our pup! It was our very first time leaving our puppy for the weekend so naturally we were a bit nervous. Lacey was super responsive throughout the booking process- and came to meet him at a meet a greet before house sitting. Lacey put our minds at ease with many photos of Franklin throughout the time spent at our home and frequent check in’s, we knew he was in good hands. She left our home clean and tidy and our pup is very happy. I highly recommend Lacey and will definitely be booking her again.

Lacey is truly fantastic. Both our old rescue cat and very young dog warmed up to her immediately. She moved smoothly from slow, gently kitty mode to handling a rambunctious Labrador. I was impressed, and the pets both love her! Lacey was also one of the best house guests we’ve had. She stayed with our pets and I think the house looked better after she was here — it was immaculate. But more than also of those, Lacey is a delight. She’s kind and attentive, easy to talk with, level headed, and a problem solver if the need arises. We couldn’t recommend Lacey more highly and we can’t wait to have her back. ♥️

For any owners willing to have their dogs socialize with other dogs, I can take their dogs to dog-friendly parks and outdoor areas. For those dogs who are squeamish around other dogs or get nervous in new environments, a walk nearby home will be just as much fun!
