I became a dog mom to my amazing toy Australian Shepherd, Hazel Grace, about 3.5 years ago. I had grown up with dogs but it wasn't until I had my own that I truly became a "dog person." We are very active together and enjoy doing anything outdoors. Dog beach is a favorite for us and we especially love other Aussies (big and small!!). I spend a lot of time playing toys and taking walks and bike rides. I am in between school right now (beginning medical school in August) and I have a bunch of free time on my hands for the next few months! I'd love to work with you and your pooches and I know that I will have a lot of fun doing so. I have a medical background and although I am not trained to administer medications to dogs, I've done so with humans and I think dogs are a bit easier! My own Aussie is trained as a therapy animal and has gone through extensive training- I know how to care for a dog in a positive and loving way! We do positive reinforcement only, but I am up for working with any training styles!
