Pet care experience
I have loved every single creature since I was a child, and have always dreamed of working with animals. I have volunteered at Wildlife Rehab Centers and interned at Farm Sanctuary in 2017, testing the waters of different types of animals. Now, I'd like more experience with different types of dogs in hopes to get a job at a vet office in the future. I have been around dogs my entire life, including but not limited to Brittany Spaniels, German Shepherds, and my current pup, a Corgi/Schipperke mix named Axl. Dogs(and animals in general) have taught me so much compassion and patience and I can't wait to learn more, because I never stop learning from animals. I always look forward to spending large amounts of time with animals, and don't ever plan to stop! I have very flexible hours considering I work in a restaurant, as well as the convenience of living downtown GR and knowing all the best dog spots.

Kyra is amazing with animals, she is amazing with her own and others! I went with her to volunteer at a wild life rehabilitation center and she was so knowledgable. She was very compassionate with all of the animals! She will take amazing care of your fur babies!
Kyra is one of THOSE people. She can not NOT stop for a dog, goat, cat.... She is kind and hard working and dependable. She has loved and taken care of my Golden Retriever, Roxy, many times. I just can’t bring myself to leave my dog in a kennel because she is quite timid of a lot of noise and always wants to be with a human. <3 Roxy totally trusts and loves Kyra. I am happy to be a reference for Kyra and her pet skills!
As Kyra’s dad, we always had pets, mostly dogs, since she was young and she learned very early in life to love and care for all types of animals! She also recently spent a month in an internship at Farm Sanctuary in Orland, CA where she helped rehabilitate many different animals! Her love and compassion for all animals would make her the perfect dog sitter!!

A typical day
I can socialize your dog by walking them downtown, where I live. We can go into shops, as well as nice riverside walks, specifically to Ah-Nab-Awen park. If allowed, will take your dogs to local off-leash parks.
