Pet care experience
I’m located in Leavenworth, but happy to travel a little for a house sitting gig. - I know this app has a lot of fees, so I’m okay working outside of it. I have a ton of experience taking care of pets, I grew up in a vet household and took on responsibility at a young age. I am comfortable with any special needs / problems your pet may have. I’ve owned dogs myself and currently own a cat. Rover allows me to get my dog fix, since I can’t currently have my own. I would love to hear from you and meet your dog/s or other pets that need to be taken care of.

Kyra is amazing with animals. She has a huge heart and will go to great lengths to help dogs. I have done Eskie rescue work with her (through Heart Bandits American Eskimo Rescue and Oakland Animal Services) and have seen how patient and nurturing she is with even the most fearful dogs. She has been taking care of our dogs for years and they truly adore her.

I would like to know about Allergies and how well your dog gets along with other dogs. I also would like to know about their behavior around other dogs, do they do well at the dog park? Are they leash reactive ? How good are they off leash? Is your dog food motivated ?
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park or on a hike, it all depends on their physical well being and age. Some dogs don’t enjoy the dog park, in those situations I go for long walks or try out some river time. With other pets, I try to meet their play needs as much as possible, even cats need to get their exercise.

I currently work for a Union and only have work calls every few days or every other week, between calls I have plenty of time to hangout with your pets!
