Pet care experience
I’ve raised my own dog since he was 8 weeks old, in addition to being the go-to caretaker for family and friends’ dogs. I can confidently walk, play with, and feed multiple dogs at any time. I’m also excellent at administering medicine when necessary. My husband and I are mostly remote (we are both in-office on Tuesday), giving us flexibility in drop off/pick up times and allowing us to give pets a lot of attention. Our daily routine includes walks and playtime, with park time a couple times a week.

Kyra and Adam took great care of my 4yo pup! My dog is somewhat anxious and slow to warm to people, and by the end of her stay, was nestled up right next to them and happy! I really appreciated all the pics - it helped calm my anxiety to see how well she was doing. Thanks guys!
Another great stay for our pup with Kyra and Adam! We received tons of photos while on our trip and didn’t ever worry at all about how things were going. They are awesome! Lots of walks and snuggle time for our dog. They were great at communication and flexible when our flight was late coming back into Austin. Could not imagine anyone better to look after our dog.
Our pup Bruce had a great stay with Kyra, Adam, and Hugo. They kept us updated each day with photos and videos and are so friendly and easy to communicate with. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our boy was in great hands.
River always has a great time at Kyra’s! We appreciate all the updates and pictures, and River comes home exhausted from play and cuddles.

My home has a medium-sized fenced in yard and is located in a safe, walkable neighborhood. My only pet is Hugo, a 5 year old corgi who is very playful and loves having other dogs in the home. Dogs are allowed on furniture unless I’m notified otherwise. I’m also more than happy to crate your dog if you provide one.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive when meeting other dogs, especially on a leash. Also let me know if you’ve experienced resource guarding with your dog or if they have any allergies. Any other info you think is helpful would be great to know!
A typical day
My own dog needs a lot of stimulation so you can expect plenty of playtime with toys inside the house, along with daily walks around my neighborhood. We love walking to our local park to play with a chuck it. If your dog is more relaxed, we’ll respect their energy level!

Daycare in our home is available 9am-7pm and may be subject to an extra charge for early drop off or late pick up. Overnight boarding can be more flexible.
