That’s right! I will also travel with you if you need me! I have a genuine love and care for all animals--especially dogs. If I could, I’d have more of my own. Instead, I have chosen to give my love and attention to lots of other dogs by providing care while you are away. I recognize each dog has a unique personality and need to be treated according to their needs and comfort level. I love to see them happy and thriving. Companionship, exercise, and healthy environments are key to a happy and healthy dog. I believe that their emotional security and safety is just as important as their physical wellbeing. My home and yard are dog friendly and they will never be alone. I will care for your fur baby as I do my own. Lots of love, affection, and care whether indoors relaxing together or playing outside getting in some fun and exercise. I've never met a dog who didn't love me and I've never met a dog I didn't love! I can't wait to meet you and your baby! Thank you for trusting me with your family.

Kym did an amazing job taking care of our guy! She went above and beyond ensuring his safety. She was even so kind as to take him to the dog park. She was quick to respond and kept us in the loop without having to ask. I felt so comfortable leaving Guinness with her. He came back a happy playful pup. It’s hard to trust someone new with something so precious but in so God we took a chance with Kym. You can just tell she is an animal person. We will definitely request Kym for our future dog sitting needs.

I have a gated yard and one small (senior) Yorki Poo who is with me almost 100% of the time that I am home. Otherwise, he’s relaxing under the bed. My fur baby is usually indoors and yours is also welcome to be inside. If your pet prefers to be outdoors, I am happy to be outside while they relax or play in the yard. I provide plenty of clean, fresh water both in the house and in the yard. I also have snacks and a toy bin. If your pet doesn’t mind a bath, I am happy to bathe them if they need it after play or just to cool off on a hot day. Should they enjoy a walk, I’d be happy to give them a quick tour of the quieter streets in my neighborhood. Most importantly, there’s always love and frequent cuddles to go around. I will share updates and photos of your fur baby throughout the day or if I catch them doing something super cute!

I'd like to know what makes the dog anxious, if he/she has any fears (mine hates motorcycles—anything with wheels. Oh and FLIES!) What does the dog enjoy doing. Are there any health concerns. Do they get along well with other dogs? Are they okay off leash—like at a dog park or in the yard? What kind of food do they eat and how often? Are you okay with me giving snacks from my own supply? What do YOU think I should know? If your pet baby has any special toys or is crate trained/ing, please bring their items to help them feel safer and secure while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different so it depends on what the fur baby is comfortable doing. Walks, playing in the yard, or just cuddling on the couch. I’m open to car rides too! Rosie’s Dog Beach is a great place to socialize with other dogs. If yours will return when called and will enjoy the beach, I’d love to take them there. No worries, I have a doggie seatbelt! Keeping your pet safe is my number one priority. I spoil them and rarely will correct behavior unless it poses harm to your pet, another pet, or a person. But if there is a behavior you are trying to address, please let me know. I’ll do my best to keep the behavior management going. Otherwise, welcome to Nana’s house!

Availability
I work full time Monday - Thursday. I can make special arrangements if you need me on a “work day.” Although I am offering full time care on weekends, I can also do check- ins at your home any day of the week, if that makes your pet more comfortable. Otherwise, I’m available to host your pet starting Thursday evenings through Sunday. If you only need walking services, I am avail every evening and any time Fri - Sundays. Message me and we can see what works for both of us. I’m flexible.
