I am a Veterinary assistant with professional dog boarding and daycare experience Though I have a place for any size of dog, I am a pitbull mom through and through. I have a huge love for bully breeds and other "restricted breed list" dogs, and understand the unique set of requirements that come with caring for these lovely fur-babies.

My care style depends on the pet! The unique personality of each critter I care for will determine how I interact with them. I am happy to take long walks and play fetch, but equally happy to spend time on the couch with the cuddly couch potatoes I come across. I love to learn from my clients about the specific needs of their pet, and adjust my care plan accordingly.

No amount of information is too much - I like to be thorough. Every little piece of knowledge can help me to provide the best and lowest stress experience for you AND your pet. The biggest things to note are: - Exercise needs/energy level - Allergies/Dietary Needs - Medications - Typical Schedule (so I can try to keep a consistent routine) - Triggers/Fears - Motivation (food, verbal praise, affection, etc...)
A typical day
After basic needs are met (food, water, potty) we will focus on enrichment. For some pets, this means fetch or a long walk. For others, we might play with enrichment toys to get their senses working. For my couch potato clients, we hang out on the couch and get as much affection and cuddling in as possible. All pets will get at least one more bathroom break before I leave and I always make sure they are set up comfortably between visits.

I always set my pet care schedule so that it fits comfortably with my work schedule. Each pet deserves the best care possible, and I prefer not to rush when providing the care they require.
