I've been around dogs all my life and have taken care of three of my own while I lived in Iowa. I checked in and walked my neighbors dogs, along with coworker's pets. I moved to the Denver area about 4 years ago and I'm looking for something to enjoy further alongside my day job at the vet clinic.

She is amazing! No need to look no further, she is a great sitter! Worth every penny! And the communication was on point, no need to worry she is very attentive. The only downfall is that I think my dogs miss her.

I feed the dogs, bathe and keep up their cleanliness and tend to trim nails frequently. I have to give medications so I’m familiar with the process especially oral medication. I’m a diabetic myself so I’m also familiar with injections.

Ahead of time, I like to know the temperament of your dog. I won't introduce anything you're not comfortable with and won't push the dog to do things it's not ready to do with a lesser known face. I like to do meet and greets especially beforehand to make sure I get to know and read the vibes of your pet. Don't be too surprised if I use baby talk and physically get down on their level to make them feel more comfortable!
A typical day
I love to make sure your pets are comfortable and having stimulation during my stays. When I stay, I also like to keep you in the loop so that you know what's going on and I tend to send messages frequently with updates. One of my favorite things to do is try and discover what tricks they're trained for! I also love to bring a bag of treats for you to keep! My dogs in my household are very very laid back, so I can also relax and lay back with your kiddo if that’s how they roll too!

Availability
I work five days a week, varying on what days. I will always be available Sundays! I can stay over if need be and tend to like to clean as much as I can to help an owner out! I work at a vet clinic, so I know the ins and outs of needing a sitter. I’m able to stay for extended periods as well! Just so you know, I will be away for about 8-12 hours a day at my day job, but on my longer days I have a 2 hour lunch so I can check in on any pets if needed.
