As an animal lover, and a spiritual practitioner, pets have the best time when I care for them. In addition to lots of pets and love, as a practicing reiki master, your pet will be surrounded with loving and supportive energy throughout the stay which helps ease the stressors of change while you are away. Very helpful for pets with separation anxiety, pets have positively responded to the extra care during stays. Having been a dog/pet owner my entire life, I’ll love and care for your fur baby like its my own. I grew up with many dogs, including two large huskies and an Aussie, have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter for three years through Rover and a local company in Rhode Island before adopting my own dog who is no longer with me. I currently am in graduate school full time and I’ve been so grateful to pet sit and spend time with dogs again! I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, goats, and horses, taking great care of both the pets and the house. I’m a very patient, attentive, and loving person, and have ample experience caring for dogs with various health conditions- I have experience giving insulin shots, medicine, or caring for pets recovering from surgery. With a love for the outdoors and exercise, we'll go for hikes and long walks, getting your pet all the exercise it needs and loves. They’ll also get plenty of cuddles and relaxation time too. Your pet will be in safe and loving hands while you’re away, and be it that dogs can sense an animal lover, I'm typically met with wagging tails and happy smiles when first meeting a dog. I’ll take your dog outside on long walks, hikes or runs (depending on the dog's capabilities/needs), and am very conscientious of a dog's limits and hydration needs when it comes to exercise. I also have prior work as a yoga and meditation teacher, along with being a reiki practitioner/teacher.
