Hi, my name is Kylie and I am a caring, responsible and experienced pet sitter. I understand leaving your pet with a stranger can be a little daunting, so I’m here to make that experience as comfortable and smooth as possible. I have taken care of pets since I was a child and thoroughly enjoy having animals in my life. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can be available on short notice. I love to get outside, walk the dogs, take them to play in the front yard or take them to the dog park if need be. I have experience with puppies and kittens, elderly cats and dogs, administering medication and am happy to bath your dog and clip nails if needed. I have taken care of many dogs and cats here in LA and have plenty of references available. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor in a gated complex with a doggie gate at my door for extra safety. My home is clean and cosy with wooden floors. I have a 5 year old Dog who was rescued from China, and a 12 year old cat who I rescued off the streets of Highland Park. When the pandemic hit, I took care of 5 animals in a clients house, one being a 17 year old dog. Unfortunately his owner moved back home overseas and could not return. The little guy, Wally, was very old and needed an extensive amount of care so I decided to adopt him. For the 1.5 years that I had him, I regularly took him to the vet and administered fluids each week. I recently had to put him down and am so grateful that I was the one who was left to care for him. I currently pick my own hours and work from home, so if your pup or cat needs to come to my place, I can give them my full attention. I'm also happy to come to your place! My dog, Lilly, is very calm and easy going with other dogs and loves to play. My cat is pretty chill and keeps to herself. If your dog doesn't like cats, thats ok as she loves to spend her time on the balcony which can be blocked off from the pups. My dog Lilly is an escape artist, so I am extremely diligent when it comes to that. If you like to crate your dog, I'm happy to do that, and respect whatever suggestions you have to keep your dog calm and safe.
