Animals are Family and Friends
Pet care experience
I love all animals. I believe that animals are family and should be treated as such. I will offer the same level of care to your pet as I would to a child or grandparent. My fondest childhood memories are of caring for my Grandpa’s dog Chicky on Sunday afternoons. I would brush her, feed her, and walk her. I cared for my cat, Princess Zelda, for 22 beautiful years until she crossed the bridge. During the time she was with me, she also had brothers Ganon and Dwight who also crossed after battles with Renal failure. Loving and caring for these animals was my greatest joy and I learned so much. I’ve dog sat for friends and family for years. A notable moment in my dog watching experience was noticing that the dog’s feces were gooey. I knew from my experience with human friends, also mammals, that it could be a pancreas issue. I alerted his owner, and it turns out he had pancreatitis. I saved his life. Anytime I’m tasked with taking care of any animal I do my best to make sure that the animal has experiences that are fun and safe. I make sure that I understand how the owner of the animal prefers their baby be treated and I act accordingly. I don’t have any pets of my own at this time, but I’m working on building life that’s more conducive to having a dog. I truly miss the companionship of a furry little friend, and I would like to be friends with yours.

Kylene took excellent care of my dog, Moo. She treated my dog as if it was her own. I highly recommend her in walking or caring for your furry friend.

I’ll make sure to do everything in my power to make sure that your animal is comfortable. Preferably, I’d like to meet you and your precious pet and spend some time together so that we can get acquainted. I’ll always be sure to take the best care of your baby.
Information Kylene A. would like to know about your pet
Prior to sitting for your l dog, I would like to meet them. If they have any special needs or medications I would like to talk to you in person about that. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but I need to know exactly what I need to do to make sure that your dog is safe and comfortable.
A typical day
Depending on your dog’s preferences we may hike my favorite easy trail the Black River Trail Loop, or go for a more challenging hike at the Parnell Loop. I’m always sure to bring treats, a collapsible water bowl with water, and a doggy first aid kit to make sure that your pup is safe and comfortable. I do thorough tick checks after each hike to make sure that your dog is safe. If you have a dog that loves to play fetch, I may rent a SniffSpot. If you’re not familiar, it’s an app that you can pay a minimal fee $10-$15 to rent a private fenced in dog area. It’s fantastic for fetch. Upon your approval, your dog may get to enjoy a Puppa-Chino from Starbucks with me. There’s no better coffee date than one with a four-legged friend!

In an attempt to become a great future dog owner I’ve been walking one to 3 miles five or six days a week. I’ve been doing this solo, but I realize that I could help a furry friend get out of the house and get some fresh air and exercise. It would be great for both of us.
