Pet care experience
I’ve been hands on with animals since I was about 8. I had a cat, and a rabbit until I was 13, then we got a dog. I helped take care of him, take him on walks, feed him, love him of course. Until we had to give him to my cousin, but then we got Bruno about 3 years ago. He’s a plobthound/black lab mix. He’s pretty rambunctious and fun. While I lived with my ex-boyfriend, he had a black lab/pit bull/boarder collie mix, named Lily. Lily was such an excited dog and I helped tale care of her as well. Take her on walks, and feed her, and potty train her as well. We had her since she was a puppy so, a lot of training was involved. I love caring for animals, even if you just want me to come love them while you’re at work, I’m definitely okay with that!

Kyleigh stayed with Ellie for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was outstanding -- amazing communication before her stay, she visited us twice before we left, she's extremely responsive and replies to texts almost immediately. She took excellent care of Ellie who is 6 weeks post-op after surgery on a torn knee. She has many restrictions and takes meds 2x/day and Kyleigh handled all of that with confidence and ease. Kyleigh left the house in pristine condition and even left us some of the brownies she baked while there! We are already planning to rebook with her!

I can’t bring your pups to my home, as Bruno is very territorial, but I can come to your home and bring them to dog parks if you’re okay with that. I know quite a few trails around the area that are dog friendly, and can bring them on those trails, or even just walk them around your neighborhood if you’d rather that. I have my own vehicle, so transportation isn’t an issue, and I’m more than willing to take them for rides if they like car rides, I know most pups do. I can lift a pretty good amount of weight, so if I need to lift your pup up the stairs or into a car or anything, I’m more than willing to do so. I can give your pup a bath if need be, or place them in a cage when I leave, if that’s what you would like me to do. I promise not to do anything you don’t want me to do, and I promise to do everything you need me to do!

Are they aggressive with other people? Other dogs? Are they food aggressive? Do they like long walks? Short walks? Are they easily dehydrated or tired?
A typical day
I know a few dog parks in the area, and quite a few dog friendly trails. I also know all of the pet stores, so I could also pick up some treats on the way!

Availability
I’m currently out of a job, and have a newborn at home. If I would be able to go for walks with him and your pups that’d be awesome. I’m still trying to lose the baby weight, so I’ll need all the walking I can get! If your pup isn’t good around babies that’s not a problem, my fiancé and my parents are all willing to watch him while I work. I can come to your home and sit with them for a little while while they play and go outside as well. I’d absolutely love if I can play with them and love them just the same as my own pup as well. I’m basically on an open schedule, other than when it comes to doctors appointments.
