Hey y'all! I am an animal care professional with many years of experience with not only my own pets, but also animals in a zoo and boarding/daycare settings! Working alongside animals is my passion. I have experience with operant learning training, understanding of basic animal behavior from my time at a boarding facility and am a confident animal handler. My experience with my own dog to provide him the most fufilling life includes various types of enrichment! For those unfamiliar, enrichment is some type of activity/object/training that provides stimulation whether it be physical or mental. Walks, puzzle toys, a training session (basic commands you've taught to maintain behaviors) are just a few of the things a pup would do while staying with me. Even if I'm popping over for a walk, we'll make the walk as enriching as possible because the wellbeing of all animals in my care are the most important thing!
