Pet care experience
Hey! I'm Kylee. I have previously worked in the pet retail industry for three years and have been privately pet sitting for friends and family for about 8 years now, there's nothing I love more than to make sure animals feel safe and cared for always. Recently, I quit my full-time job to pursue this as my career. Dedicating my time to being there for people and their pets is the most rewarding and satisfying way to live in my eyes! I have no problem being around any type of animal, as I have experience caring for all different kinds already. From dogs and cats to even birds and snakes! I will do my best to reflect the exact same care routine you have established and make sure any pet is more than comfortable being around me.

I’ve known Kylee since she was a kid. Her mother would drop her off a couple days a week to play with my feral kittens (found in a dumpster) to help socialize them. She was my Lab’s best friend — he liked her better than me! Most recently, she helped train and dogsit my 175 lb. Great Dane/Mastiff mix breed. She is the only person I would trust with him since most people were scared to death of him. Kylee has a way of knowing how they’re feeling and treating them with love and respect. What more could you ask for?

Making sure any and all beings feel 100% safe around me is my top priority! You cannot do much if there isn't a solid foundation of trust. I will always prefer to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet first and foremost so they can at least see me once before you leave them alone in my care, just to make the transition easier for everyone! With me, I don't like to deviate from someone's preset schedule and will follow your directions to a T. Being there for your animal when you aren't able, whether it's for a whole day or a simple 30 minute walk around the neighborhood, is treated as an honor. Being trusted by you to watch something so precious and close to your heart truly means a lot to me! And I will not treat it lightly. Not to say your pet and I won't be having any fun, but more like well-supervised and calculated fun!

Knowing your pet’s breed, age, and sex can be very helpful to note before first meeting them! I’d also love to know a lot more for both the safety of your pet and myself. Things on that list would include: Allergies and sensitivities Current vaccination status and medical conditions Preferred flea and tick repellent If they enjoy car rides Temperament around other animals, people, and kids
A typical day
If I’m taking care of someone else’s pet, I do my best to stick to their usual schedule to make sure their pet doesn’t get stressed. Keeping them happy and comfortable is my top priority! Having their best friend absent even for a short while is already unnerving, so building a bond and keeping them content is most important.
