It's a tale as old as time: I've always been an animal person, finding a level of tranquility and enjoyment when sharing activities with animals or simply being around them that is hard to find anywhere else. Throughout my life I have always had a soft spot for them. A love and interest shines even brighter with dogs, easily my favorite animal on the planet. They don't call them "Man's best friend" for no reason, after all. When it comes to dog sitting, or even just looking after the dogs themselves, I believe I have an abundance of patience, caring, and understanding that makes me well suited to the task. As an example, even during my young years, when my own dog Sandy accidentally knocked me down the stairs in his excitement, I never developed a fear or negative opinion of him or dogs in general. It was always clear to me that despite what happened, he didn't intend to hurt, and though he couldn't communicate it, it was clearly an accident born from his own excitement and desire to play with me. My pet care experience of course includes taking care of my own pets, but also pet sitting, drop ins, and dog walking over the course of the last eight years. In all three categories I have worked with dogs who have required medicine, larger dogs such as sheep dogs who have incredible energy (and strength), and smaller less sociable dogs who required time warming up to me. Currently I am available at all hours of the day, any day of the week. I'm also available for extended stays if dog sitting is the service you are required.
