To Whom It May Concern, It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Kyle Patton. Kyle has worked as an umpire for Rochester Hills Little League since April 2013. As the umpire in chief for RHLL, I have worked closely with Kyle over those five years. During his time working for me, Kyle has umpired many baseball and softball games for players who range in age from 5 years to 15 years old. During this time Kyle has constantly demonstrated he is hard-working, helpful, and trustworthy. Due to the frequency with which little league games are played, a crew chief, or umpire in charge of all the fields, must be present anytime a game is being played. This position requires the overseeing of up to five games and the coordination of many other umpires. Kyle has served as one of my crew chiefs on numerous occasions. On these occasions Kyle has arrived on time and met all of my expectations with a cheerful and courteous attitude. Kyle has also demonstrated his dedication to helping others by regularly agreeing to work games, sometimes hours before they start. On the field, Kyle continues to demonstrate a desire to learn and grow as an umpire and a person. He always seeks clarification when needed and does not hesitate to answer the questions of coaches, parents, and players. Over the last couple seasons, Kyle had the opportunity to work with young umpires, some of which had never umpired before. He went out of his way to help these umpires and guide them through the example he set and friendly feedback. It is with pride that I highly recommend Kyle Patton receive the position he is seeking.
