Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Kyle and I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy Student on the Anschutz Medical Campus. While I don't have a pet now, I grew up with a yellow lab and Rhodesian ridgeback, one very energetic dog and one very big dog. Since I was 16, I have been watching my neighbors' animals, and growing up rural New Hampshire, they had all different kinds of pets (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, fish, and guinea pigs)! I have experience watching and walking dogs of all sizes and of many breeds. My dogs did not take oral medications easily, so I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to ensure they got their medications. Because I don't have any pets at the moment, I am always excited to look after yours!

Kyle was great! This was my first time using rover and I felt so comfortable knowing that my cats were in good hands while I was away.
What a nice feeling to know your pets are being taken care of while you're away. Kyle has great communication skills and a super quick response time. She arrived on time and even got our fraidy cat to come out and she even let Kyle per her. I hope she's available the next time we head out!
Kyle was great helped us out when we needed last minute and Sully really enjoyed her!

I typically prefer to do a meet and greet before watching a new pet so we can all have the safest experience. During this time, I will likely ask the following questions: - How does your dog get along with people and other dogs? - How does your dog handle leash walking? - Do you use any special commands with your dog? - Does your dog have a unique history, any health conditions, or triggers that I need to be aware of? These questions just help me get a better understanding of your pet and how I can best take care of them!
A typical day
I am a runner and hiker, so I enjoy runs, walks, and strolls through the parks in the Denver area. I particularly like Lowry Sports Park and Central Park. I also have fun playing fetch, tug-of-war, frisbee, or other fun games in the backyard or living room.

Availability
As I mentioned above, I am currently a student with an abnormal student schedule. While there are some days I have class 8-5, that is not typically the case. My schedule varies day to day and I often have pockets of time to walk or check in on pets, especially in the morning, late afternoon, and into the evening. Even though my schedule varies, I do my absolute best to remain consistent with check-ins. Please reach out about my specific schedule as it is flexible and I can often rearrange as needed!
