Hello! My name is Kyle and I’m a medical student here in Portland, which keeps me pretty busy, but not too busy to make new furry friends! I grew up on a cattle ranch and have always been surrounded by animals, both big and small. I will be primarily available on weekends and sporadically during the week, but my fiancé, Colin, works about a 5 minute drive from our front door and will be available to help with mid-day potty breaks and walks when they aren’t able to join him at his job (which is outdoors about 50% of the time). I have worked for the last several years as a dog walker and have been pet sitting since elementary school, so I’m very familiar with the ins and outs of pet care. Our apartment is furnished almost entirely with hand me downs from family members or free/cheap Craigslist finds, so there’s nothing your pet could do to it that hasn’t been done already haha. Also, the inside isn’t very big, but we have a great (fully fenced) back yard that provides plenty of space to run around! We have a very friendly dog of our own, named Barley, who gets along great with every other dog he’s ever met. He plays very gently and can be timid at first (especially with very friendly dogs who approach too quickly for his comfort) but warms up fast! Thanks!
