Hi there! I’m Kylah 🙂 IG: @furryfriends_la After 5 years of pet sitting professionally, I know I’ve found my calling. I’ve always been an avid animal lover and had a special connection to animals. I am great with communication and am happy to negotiate price on a case by case basis. I moved to LA from the South 9 years ago. I’m a driven and dedicated person with a huge heart and definite animal lover. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and come from a family of animal lovers. Pet sitting has always been a part of my life because my grandmother and Mom have been pet sitters my whole life. I began pet sitting myself back home in Memphis where I built a client list of over 50 furry friends and was broken hearted when I had to say goodbye as Sunny LA was calling out to my soul! 9 years later, I’m still living here and loving the Cali-life. About 5 years ago I decided to start my pet sitting business back up and open my heart to new furry friends and wonderful clients. I am grateful to say I now have several regular clients who I absolutely adore and am looking forward to welcoming many more into my life. As I don’t have any pets of my own, your fur babies will get all of my love and attention! I have lots of experience with all breeds, temperaments, ages, and types of dogs (and cats as well).. -pit bulls -huskies -great danes -doodle mixes -frenchies -retrievers -and many more! I also have experience with certain situations.. -diffusing dog fights -safely retreating from dog attacks -leash reactivity training In addition to experience with.. -medication -allergies -animals with illness -elderly animals I am also highly experienced with Rescues due to the fact that all of the pets my family had growing up, we always picked out at the shelter. I understand the extra gentle and loving nature often needed to help gain the trust of beloved Rescues. It is my main goal to create a safe and loving environment for all furry friends from all backgrounds, traumatic or otherwise. Fitness is also a big part of my life so I can ensure that all animals get lots of exercise, play time, attention, engagement, cuddles, and fun! With me you can rest assured knowing your family member is with another family member/soon to be. So you can enjoy your time away! I'm impressed with Kyla's connection to my dog Amber. Amber did not go through any of her usual separation anxiety.
Kylah was amazing - such a gem! Our dogs loved her and she left our house spotless. She sent lots of photos everyday and always stayed in contact. I would 100% recommend her and will definitely be using her again!
Kylah is such a natural caretaker and my dog is obsessed with her. As a rescue owner, bonding with a sitter that we both trust is a HUGE deal and I am 100% comfortable leaving Maya in Kylah’s care. I feel so grateful to have found her in a city where we didn’t know anyone. She is so respectful of my rules and my dog. Best sitter I’ve ever had!
Kylah was amazing! This was my first time getting a sitter for my animals and she made this process so easy. My pets were well taken care of, my home was so clean, and I felt secure knowing everything was taken care of. She sent me regular updates throughout the day with pictures and videos so I always got to see how things were going. So grateful!!

A typical day
We will have so much fun! I love going on runs or jogs with them! I also love going on hikes and to local parks to play fetch and get some great exercise! Going to the beach is always a dog favorite, too. Afterwards dinner and lots of snuggles is a must.
