I live with my aunt and uncle out on a ranch with one female Great Dane who is the most sweet natured and mellow dog you could meet. She is very well socialized and has never gotten into a fight with another animal. On the ranch there are also 3 horses. There is a ton of space for dogs to run around. The ranch is fenced off but not securely enough for me to be able to promise anything, so with your pet, unless I’m told otherwise, I would keep them inside with me while I work (in a small casita that’s separate from the house where the Great Dane lives) and take them for walks when they need and want to go outside.
