Pet care experience
I have lived with and taken care of dogs since childhood. When I was in middle and high school I had my own pet sitting business, where I would do walks, drop in visits, and overnight stays at client’s houses. My family has always had multiple dogs at a time so I can definitely juggle multiple pets with different needs. Currently I have a few clients who have continued to use us for dog sitting at our home for the past two years. We have had up to 5 dogs in the same house (one family and my dogs), so we don’t mind if it is dog city! We have a fenced in yard that is perfect for playing. My husband and I currently have two blue heelers: 2yrs old and 4 months old. We don’t have any kids, but are employed full time. One of us goes home at lunch for at least an hour, so dogs can get a good potty break/lunch/playtime in. Just let me know if you have any questions!

Pets coming to stay at my home will do well if they are well socialized with other dogs, as I have two blue heelers that live with me. We have a fenced in yard and live near federal land. In the winter, we frequently go out for hikes out there-dog paradise! I also have two movable baby gates that I can use to make sure dogs don’t get too overwhelmed, if play is getting rowdy, or to separate everyone at meal times (I always do this to avoid any dog feeling threatened with other dogs around their food).

A typical day
We like to go for hikes on the weekend with our two pups, who can be off leash in less populated areas (totally fine of your dog is not an off leash dog). In the winter we go walk on the blm land behind our house and in the summer we go all over the place. My dogs love playing out in the yard—my 2yr old is OBSESSED with catching frisbees, footballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, etc.

Availability
My husband and I work full time. One of us is always home at lunch for about an hour. Then, in the evenings, the dogs usually are playing outside, playing inside, break for dinner, and then more playing outside and inside. On the weekends we like to go for a hike, but depends on what kind of pup we have staying with us and what their parents are comfortable with.
