My husband and I work from home and are excited to hang out with your pup! I have also cat sit and fostered kittens. Currently, I have my own dog for several years now and have been through all the typical events, so I am attentive to your dogs needs. I have lived with an anxious dog and so I've learned to keep them close to me, with all their favorite familiar things and play soothing music to calm their nerves. I work from home Monday-Friday. It's a typical 9-5p but flexible enough that if I need to step out or away from my desk I can do so. I sit right in the living room, my dog joins me all day and hangs with me while I work. I take breaks every hour or so to get up and stretch and check on water levels, play with them. They will get a 15 minute walk before work or soon after they arrive. Then another 15 minute walk around noon-1p. Followed by another 25 minute walk right before 5pm. For overnight guests they will get a walk soon after they arrive ( unless otherwise specified) and then another walk right before bed and one in the morning before they leave. Dogs who stay with me are being monitored constantly and always in my presence. They have free reign to explore any where but the bedroom which I will keep the door closed. If they walk away to hang in the another space, I will check in on them. I have several toys that they are welcome to play with! My dog does not care for any toys. They can sunbathe by my desk, enjoy the terrace which is secured for pets of all sizes. I have a fake grass pad in my terrace as well which I open weather permitting and they are welcome to use. If your dog enjoys belly rubs like most do, I will gladly provide them! I try to create a lovable, bubbly atmosphere for them to make sure they feel secure and at home. If your pet has special things they like to do at home you can let me know and I will try and accommodate it as best I can.
