Pet care experience
I grew up caring for three large dogs that are my family's dogs- I refer to them as our three baby bears. Growing up with both dogs and cats in the family, I have experience in training animals and know the lowdown on general pet care. I absolutely love the differences in every animal's personality! I am working full-time as a professional freelance musician right now; most of my gigs are in the evening and at local venues, which leaves the bulk of my days wide open. I have one of the most flexible schedules imaginable, and great availability to come pet, play with, walk or run with your fur babies. I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds and have an active lifestyle so if you have a dog that needs some exercise, I'd be happy to do it. I'm also comfortable and available to house sit and/or overnight pet sit.

I know Kya in a professional and personal capacity. I’ve worked on teams with her and I’ve had her in my home and watched her interact with my dogs. She is the perfect combination of knowledgeable, on the ball, and loving. If I were leaving town, I would not hesitate to have Kya watch my pups, and I would not worry for a second that my babies were safe and loved.
Kya K. is a dog‘s best friend! She loves dogs and has a special bond with them. Dogs know this about her and immediately respond to her. We have two rescue dogs that love Kya. Wall-E will turn 15 years old in two weeks and was adopted 10 years ago. And Wilma will be 6 years old soon and was adopted almost 4 years ago Kya has taken care of them for us since we adopted both. They love her! She is responsible and will give loving care to your furry kids.

A typical day
Walks or runs (either in your neighborhood, or on a suggested route of yours!), focused playtime of their favorite kind (fetch, tug, whatever your pet loves!), belly rub sessions, training work using positive reinforcement (treats!) are some things I like to do with my dogs when I visit them at my parent's house!

Availability
My musician work typically falls late at night which leaves my daytimes wide open to play with your pets. This can be worked around if I'm house sitting for you!
