Pet care experience
Hi my name is Kya & I do concierge pet services. I am flexible and at heart an animal lover. My main goal in this side-business is to provide good care and love for an animal. I have been born and raised in Bluffton Sc, and do kayaking tours in the summer. I attend Cofc and am studying for my bachelors degree in biology. Once I receive this degree, I plan to work at non-profit organizations like animal life reserves as a Zoologist or Animal Behaviorists. I do more than just dog sitting, I do housekeeping, and can check your mail, take out trash and any other daily necessities needed. Kya was fantastic with our dogs. I've actually never seen them be so calm with someone before! She kept us updated with lots of photos and texts so we always knew what was going on with our pups. We returned home to a house that was well taken care of and she even watered our plants for us :) I will definitely be hiring her again!
Kya watched my 4 month old Lab overnight for two nights and three days. She was amazing! Sent lots of pics of the pup and had regular check-ins. Came home to a happy pup! Really appreciate Kya and will continue to book her anytime I go out of town!!

Kya was great, she showed up on time and left my house spotless. Bradi seemed happy and comfortable upon my return. Kya sent pictures and communicated in a timely manner. I will definitely use her again.

When staying at your home, I will be sure to pick up after myself via clean my own dishes, pick up my trash..etc and treat your home like am I a guest. I would make sure the pups/animals got a lot of attention and I would as well stick the feed schedule/routine that the animals are most used too. Ex; leaving the Tv on while I am away, keeping food off the counters, getting crated if needed...taking medication at a certain time...etc. I am very flexible! Depending on the anxiety or habits of the pups, I have had clients ask me to sleep in there personal bedroom, on the couch downstairs or in a guest room. Every dog/cat are different, I would, of course, try to cater to their needs as necessary

Just specify any habits or special tendencies for the safety of the animal(s). (any nervousness/ anxiety the animal has..do they chase cars? aggressive around food?...)
A typical day
I would stick the per usual streets, circles, parks, or even their back/front yard. Whatever the dog is used to is fine by me! After the first meet and greet, we can go over the daily routine of the animals and get a flow of their habits :)

I work as a personal assistant all around Charleston and my shift per day only last about 4-5 hours. Per day, I am off typically around 2-3pm everyday and available for overnight dog sitting.
