I have been a pet owner since the day I was born. I grew up in a rural community, and have experience with many different types of animals. Currently, I am a mom to a Siberian Husky and a calico. My dog is well-trained and friendly, and I love working with highly active dogs. My cat is used to having dogs around, but I keep my cat separated from the dogs we board anyways. I walk my husky twice a day, and I am a long-distance runner. I have a very flexible schedule as a stay at home mom to a 15 year old (he also works well with animals), so I am available to take dogs on long walks. At the moment I am open to providing most services. However, when boarding your pets will need to be get along with other dogs as I have a husky who also lives with me. I like to get to know individual pets and their specific needs before boarding. I also have experience with bathing, feeding, and training dogs. I use positive reinforcement to communicate with dogs I care for.

Ky provided outstanding care for our pets when house sitting. We felt very comfortable with her in the home, and she willingly helped with extra little things like taking the trash tote to the street. She provides that extra touch of reassurance and comfort. Ky is mindful to send videos and photos, which made the family smile while away. You can tell she totally loves animals. I will certainly request her again when the need arises.
Ky is absolutely amazing. The updates and way she kept me posted on my fur baby was the best! Highly recommend.
Ky was not only responsive but was super communicative. I seriously couldn't of ask for someone else better to watch Sandi. It was over a week and every single day she contacted me just keeping in touch with a message, photo, and video. It was super amazing to have them watch over Sandi. If we were to leave town again I would absolutely 100% ask her again. Sandi came back so happy and healthy, I am so grateful.

My home has a large yard and two patios, but I always supervise dogs I board and keep them on a leash with me when outside. Our cat is very friendly with dogs, but we keep her separated from the dogs we book. Our husky loves other dogs, and playtime between her and dogs we book is closely supervised. All dogs we board have their own space in our so they have privacy. When I wake up, I take my Siberian Husky for a walk, then I feed and water her. We spend most of the day together, and I play tug with her. I use positive reinforcement and have a lot of toys I work with to keep her engaged and active throughout the day. I also use healthy training treats occasionally to reinforce good behaviors. I play soothing music for dogs during times she is stressed out, and use time outs for when she needs time to settle down. For my cat, I use dangling cat toys to keep her exercised. I change her box daily, and I feed and water her daily. My animals are all in great shape as I watch their nutrition carefully. They are up to date on vet care.

I highly recommend a Meet and Greet before boarding. I have a cat, but I do not keep her around the dogs I board. She has her own separate room she stays in (even though she is good with dogs). Also, while I live in an apartment, it is very pet friendly with a big yard and two patios. I keep dogs on leash at all times, and they are never unsupervised at any point during their stay. I need to know how often a dog needs to go out, if the dog needs special medications, the general activity level of the dog, what to do if the dog gets overwhelmed, and if you allow your dog to sit on furniture or beds.
A typical day
I take my husky on walks/runs twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Throughout the day, I use tug toys and other stimulating toys to keep her engaged and busy. I like to cuddle with my dog too. I take her out once an hour. We like to walk on nature trails. I take her to the dog park to run off leash once a week.

Availability
I have an open schedule. I am a stay at home mom, but my son is 15, so he is fairly independent. I am usually available same day with some exceptions. Dogs are never unsupervised during my bookings.
